Season 7 coming Oct 5 with cast call!!! Jul 12, 2010 Season six just great as they all are. "I Once Had a Secret Love" I think is the best one. The dynamics between Lou and Mary feel so genuine it blows you away. And so very funny! Season 7 coming in October WOOO HOOOO!

Own them ALL May 28, 2010 We have been fans of Mary Tyler Moore since they first aired. I love sharing them with my daughters now. With so many terrible shows, I love that we can watch good, wholesome and funny shows with my children. Every season is recommended!!

Mary's New Digs May 11, 2010 Mary seems to have adjusted to life without Rhoda, although Rhoda does make a cameo appearance in one episode. She also moves into a new apartment after Phyllis leaving the show as well. The first few episodes seem to struggle a little as Mary tries one new hairdo after another, but gains stride and offers some great episodes during the course of the season. The focus is on Mary and Lou, where it should be, although Ted and Sue Ann get plenty of space, with a very funny episode in which Murray accepts the job of producing Sue Ann's show, only to find out why so many producers have left her before.
The biggest change is in Ted's life as he finally decides to tie the knot with Georgette, who has become Mary's best friend, with a hilarious wedding scene that included young John Ritter as a novice priest. Ted and Georgette also adopt a young son (Robbie Rist) at season's end.
Penny Marshall also features into two or three episodes, one as Lou's date, as he tries to regain a former girlfriend, who appears with Jeff Conaway (of Taxi fame) on her arm at a party he contrived at Mary's flat to see her again.
The best episodes, however, are those in which Mary's aunt pays a couple visits. Eileen Heckart is wonderful as Flo Meredith, who shakes up the newsroom with her indomitable personality. Flo is a big time journalist who initially rubs Lou the wrong way but they soon warm up to each other making for some delightful scenes.
Same gripes about the packaging as in Season 5. No extras.
